Escape from Media and Journey to Aloria are being written as stand alone connected stories. The reader will enjoy Journey to Aloria more if they have read Escape from Media, but it is not required. The three subsequent books will be sequels that should be followed after Journey to Aloria. They will all follow a chronological timeline.

No. I have Attention deficient disorder, so routine is not easy for me, but I love it. I have a full-time job that I typically work Monday through Friday, but most of the rest of my time is spent writing, reading, watching shows, playing with my pets, or taking care of my house, my family or myself. Inspiration comes from various sources, including historical events, personal experiences, and the complexities of human relationships. Making a character real is one of my key writing techniques, so I like to create combinations of features from various real or imaginary characters.

My business experience aids in strategic planning and marketing, while writing allows me to explore creativity and emotion. The combination helps in effectively bringing stories to readers. I also have a very strategic brain. I am INTJ in Myers Briggs. It means that I can usually figure out the plot of a story shortly after the show has started. I try to write these stories for my brain and people like me. I want to keep someone like me wondering what will happen.

I have wanted to be a writer since I was in middle school. In high school, I had a love of romance novels specifically. I began to become bored with them, as I could always figure out what was going to happen. They became route and boring. I knew I could do better. I was swept off my feet at a young age in college and I got married to a man that did not encourage me to write. I did write, but I didn't share them with people. It was my personal outlet to escape to another world and find happily ever afters. After my divorce, my therapist suggested that I imagine what being in a healthy relationship would be like. That lead to Blue Haven. I published it only after family, friends, my therapists, and others determined that they loved the story. That is when I decided that I wanted to brush off some of the stories that I had been saving. I have a lot of stories coming... Just wait. 😎

I have been developing my fantasy world since I was a child. I have a fully mapped planet with a timeline, history, political structure, major world events, and magical structure. I drew from my love of so many fantasy worlds to create my own take on the world.
